Greenwood2.0
Working in association with Plymouth Arts Centre, artist and writer Mark Greenwood embarked on series of walks around Plymouth investigating myths, histories and monuments as well as systems for writing poetry. By dissecting the systems of structuring language and using the rules and influences he applies to his text-based work Greenwood, we built a virtual verison of him.
The software, Greenwood 2.0, generates new poems, which can be viewed on the large public screen situated on the front of the Portland Square Building, University of Plymouth. The software and the poetry are further influenced by its environment through data feeds from sensors such as movement of people, CO2 levels, online search engines and through its own evolving generative system.

antisocial notworking
‘antisocial notworking’ is a repository of projects that explore the pseudo-agency of online social platforms. It takes a number of recent software projects as its inspiration to reflect upon the fashion for ‘participation’ with the arts sector and culture in general. The concern is how the Internet is increasingly charactised as a 'platform' (or collective machine) for 'social' uses, but to question what is meant by the term social in such descriptions.

Far West
To support the Far West exhibition which explored the new consumer and cultural relationships emerging as the economic centre of the world shifts towards the East, we developed an online shop for the Arnolfini. The aim was to deliver a unique shopping experience that provided customers with the experience of interacting with, producing and then purchasing, a selection of specially branded and exclusive products, ranging from ornaments to music, comics, toys, and artworks.
